Książka poświęcona twórczości Aline Réveillaud de Lens (1881-1925), francuskiej pisarki i malarki, która od 1911 r. żyła i tworzyła w Tunezji i Maroku. W swoich dziełach poruszała kwestie związane z życiem Maghrebu i tamtejszych kobiet. Trzy kategorie badawcze, przyjęte przez autorkę opracowania – orientalizm, kolonializm i międzykulturowość – pozwalają pokazać dynamikę oraz wyjątkowość jej twórczości. Le livre fait sortir de l’oubli l’œvre d’Aline Réveillaud de Lens (1881-1925), écrivaine et peintre française qui, depuis 1911, a vécu et créé en Tunisie et puis au Maroc, consacrant ses textes et ses tableaux au Maghreb, et plus précisément aux femmes maghrébines. Les trois catégories – l’orientalisme, le colonialisme et l’interculturalité – ont été employées pour montrer la dynamique et le caractere exceptionnel de son ouvre. The book rediscovers the works of Aline Réveillaud de Lens (1881-1925), a French writer and painter who, since 1911, lived and worked in Tunisia and Morocco. In her works she portraited Maghreb and North African women. Three categories – orientalism, colonialism and interculturality – have been used to show the dynamics and uniqueness of her texts and paintings.
